Ground breaking ceremony for a frontage road of HCMC-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway

The frontage road, an indispensable category of HCMC-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway Project, spanning 3,387.56 meters of urban land road, commences at Mai Chi Tho street (District 2) and ends at Do Xuan Hop street (District 9).

The project also involves the erection of three new bridges on the road, namely, Ba Dat, Muong Kenh, and Ba Hien bridges, which altogether run 566.94 meters in length.

It takes 24 months to finish the whole project counting from the groundbreaking date, totaling 808 billion dong of Public – Private Partnership Capital Investment.

This project plays a pivotal role in creating necessary infrastructural and technical linkage for Nam Rach Chiec residential zone, a 90.26-ha region, with the greater urban infrastructural network. Furthermore, it is anticipated to expedite site clearance in Thu Thiem New Urban Zone and the building progress of Nam Rach Chiec residential neighborhood as well as satellite projects running along the frontage road.

As part of project scope, the joint name of Nam Rach Chiec & Tien Phuoc will also renovate all junction sites along the expressway and construct supplementary technical categories such as drainage, lighting, technical drenching, green space, and the like.

Upon completion, the HCMC-Long Thanh-Dau Giay Expressway, together with its frontage road and such avenues as Mai Chi Tho, Dong Van Cong, Belt 2, Luong Dinh Cua, etc., will form a thorough and wide-ranging traffic network for East Saigon, a critical prerequisite to accelerate urban economic growth.
