Vietnam Excellent Brand Award is an initiative jointly executed on yearly basis by Vietnam Economic Times and Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Trade). Started in 2001, the industry award celebrates outstanding business excellence, effectiveness, and national contribution of enterprises across the country. 

Awards are handed out following a meticulous screening process on grounds of 7 criteria, including business performance, brand protection, leadership influence, human resources, enterprise social responsibility, and carbon footprint commitment. Most spectacularly, the organisers seek out and honor breakthrough solutions in terms of eco-friendly technology, energy efficiency, environmental protection, and community enpowerment.
