Moreover, she’ll be able to see the day-by-day development of Thu Thiem New Urban Zone, a spectacular sighting every single person has been anticipating witnessing.

Speaking on behalf of municipal leaders, Mr. Le Thanh Hai, a Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Committee, expresses appreciation to all attending locals for their compliance to relocation policies and by so doing making way for the construction of Thu Thiem New Urban Zone. Mr. Hai commands that authorities in District 2 oversee the new apartment building to ensure appropriateness in overall management. According to Mr. Hai, their liabilities are not just restricted to erecting quality and well-designed houses for resettlers, but extended to the charge of fulfilling other technical & traffic categories and social development goals to guarantee favorable living conditions for those inhabitants.

“For the time being, to ensure effective relocation stabilisation and social wellness, District 2 authorities will focus on post-settlement social programs,” says Mr. Tat Thanh Cang, Secretary of the District Party Committee cum District 2 People’s Committee President, in his keynote speech, “and it involves a number of sub-tasks including civil infrastructural building, environmental protection, establishing new markets, malls, and service centers, green corners… We will also help resettlers to adjust their family registers appropriately, introduce favorable social welfare schemes, and launch vocational training and career support programs in foreseeable future.”

Local government, party committee, and residents in District 2 will also reinforce the formation process of Thu Thiem New Urban Zone by launching extensive communication campaigns to convince those households who have not received resettlement compensation. The aim is that they will hand over their floors in timely manner, a critical condition to ensure normal pace of construction.
